A group of 10 people were involved in a fight outside a property in Reading on Tuesday.
Thames Valley Police were called to the affray at around 2.30pm but the group had dispersed by the time officers arrived.
A baseball bat was recovered from nearby Kintbury Walk where the altercation took place.
Investigating officer, PC Eric Harcup, based at Reading police station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this incident of affray.

“When officers arrived the group had dispersed and so it is unknown whether anyone was injured as a result.
“I’d also appeal to any motorists who may have been in the local area around the time of the incident to please check dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could help with the investigation.
