Paunovic said: "We definitely failed in the second half as a team. We have to acknowledge we didn't do a good job. We must confront the opponent properly especially when we conceded the first goal we crumbled.

"We lost composure and couldn't come back so that is something that is disappointing to see but we all accept responsibly for this as a whole team on and off the field and I include myself.

"We have a good group and I'm 100 percent I'm going to fix it and the good thing is that we have a game on Saturday.

"I think the Championship showed once again how difficult it is, anyone can beat anyone. That's why it is so exciting. We are looking to take our chances this Saturday against a very good team.

"I don't think about surprises as somebody who is involved in football and knows how things work.

"Everyone can beat you and come back, if you're not at your best especially. I'm not surprised but obviously unhappy about the defeat.

"If you look at the first half there wasn't complacency, we were ruthless and clinical.

"The second half it could be fatigue, this group are accumulating games and all the success from the past month are due to the performances this group.

"A midweek game again isn't easy and Blackpool are a good team and they did very well and managed the game very well and never gave up.
