The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates' Court 

August 17

BRENDAN BICKNELL, 21, of Modbury Gardens, Reading, admitted cultivating cannabis plants in Reading between November and December 2020. Also admitted possession of cannabis in Reading and driving without insurance in Reading on April 28, 2021, and two counts of using threatening behaviour to cause distress in Reading on December 2, 2020 and February 10, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £180 in court fees. Handed three points on his driving licence. 
ROSS GEORGE, 36, of Elgar Road, Reading, admitted racially aggravated harassment without violence in Reading, namely sending a woman more than 250 Facebook messages and iMessages, between 23 December 2019 and 27 December 2019. Also admitted causing harassment or distress by using threatening behaviour on George Street in Reading on January 4, 2020. Committed to prison for 18 weeks due to the severity of the offence. Made to pay a £128 victim surcharge. 

August 18

STEFAN WILLIAMS, 33, of Coronation Square, Reading, admitted driving whilst disqualified, without insurance, and without due care and attention in Reading on August 20, 2019, namely jumping out of a BMW with the engine running, keys in the ignition, without applying the parking brake, causing the vehicle to roll into a police car. Community order made. Requirement to participate in up to 15 rehabilitation activity days. Made to pay £720 in court fees. Banned from driving for ten months. 
KAYLEIGH STEPHENS, 34, of Russell Street, Reading, admitted aiding the driving of a car whilst disqualified and without insurance, and possession of cocaine, in Reading on August 20, 2019. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. Banned from driving for ten months. Must pay court fees of £630. 

August 19

WILLIAM AMBROSE, 37, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, admitted committing an act of outraging public decency, namely masturbating in a red Toyota Aygo on Oxford Road, Reading, on July 1, 2021. Also admitted possession of cannabis. Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 24 months. Order to participate in up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity days. Must pay £213 in court fees. 
GERARD LAWRENCE, 18, of Ash Road, Tilehurst, admitted stealing alcohol from Marks and Spencer in Reading on February 4, 2021. Also admitted stealing alcohol from Tesco worth £105 in Reading on the same date. Conditional discharge for 12 months. Must pay compensation of £42.75 and £107 in court fees. 
GEORGE BERKL, 28, of Kensington Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 21, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £3.90. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
ELIZABETH CLEARY, 38, of Windermere Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 2, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £15.70. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
MOHAMMED KARIM, 20, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 8, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £25.90. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
GOMES LESSO, 31, of Francis Street, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 8, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £6.67. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
CLAIRE WHITE, 43, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 18, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £4.60. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
JEROME STALUCA, 37, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 18, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £4.60. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
JESSICA OYEBADE, 31, of Laud Close, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 11, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £25.90. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
ROBERT POTTER, 47, of Oxford Road, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 18, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £3.90. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
TOMAZ MAJCHRZAK, 36, of Willow Street, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on February 22, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £9.70. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees.
