The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court. 

August 6

AMBER WHITE, 22, of Victoria Street, Reading, convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a train fare in Reading on March 10, 2021. Fined £440 and must pay compensation of £10.70. Ordered to pay £224 in court fees. 

August 9

ROBERT SREBRZYNSKI, 35, of Oxford Road, Reading, admitted possession of amphetamine and possession of a blade in a public place, namely a stanley knife, in Reading on March 16, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £95 victim surcharge. 
LEE EDWARDS, 35, of Conway Road, Reading, admitted breaching a community order on two occasions in April and May 2021. Ordered to pay costs of £75. 

August 10
SIMON DOMINEY, 48, of Edinburgh Road, admitted failing to four counts of comply with requirements of sex offenders register, namely failing to notify police of address. Committed to prison for four weeks due to the severity of the offence. Must pay £207 in court fees. 
JOSEPH LEE, 25, of Battle Place, Reading, admitted stalking without fear, namely visiting a woman’s home address, looking through her windows, in Reading between April 30, 2021, and May 18, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order made. Defendant forbidden from contacting the victim. Must pay £180 in court fees. 
PHILIP CLOVER, 62, of Oxford Road, Reading, admitted harassment without violence, on Shooters Hill, Pangbourne, on May 16, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to participate in up to 30 rehabilitation activity days. Restraining order made. Defendant forbidden from contacting the victim. Fined £60 and must pay £180 in court fees. 
RICHARD HISCOCK, 26, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted two counts of theft from a shop, namely stealing alcohol to the value of £129 at Sainsbury’s in Reading on January 14 and January 18, 2021, and assault by beating in Reading on January 14, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 15 days of rehabilitation activities. Must pay compensation of £110. 


August 11
DANIEL BARRETT, 41, of Kentwood Hill, Tilehurst, Reading, admitted burglary of Thames Cash and Carry in Reading having entered as a trespasser on February 7, 2021. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months due to the severity of the offence. Must pay compensation of £10 and costs of £85. 

August 12
BENJAMIN GREEN, 25, of Wittenham Avenue, Tilehurst, Reading, convicted of criminal damage to a property, namely destroying a black iPhone 11 to the value of £1,000 in Burghfield on September 3, 2020. Also convicted of theft of a pair of Givenchy sliders on the same date. Also convicted of making a phone call that was of an indecent or grossly offensive nature based on the presumed sexual orientation of the victim on September 1, 2020. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work. Must pay compensation of £265 and court fees of £870. 
RICHARD LAMBOURNE, 41, of Grovelands Road, Reading, convicted of two counts of assault by beating in Reading on December 4, 2020. Community order made. Requirement to participate in up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days. Must pay compensation of £200 and court fees of £595.

August 13

DEREK WOODS, 35, of Drovers Way, Woodley, admitted handling stolen goods, namely a Honda Civic, in Bracknell on August 24, 2020. Fined £150 and must pay £484 in court fees.
