A FINCHAMPSTEAD man was caught drink driving at Royal Berkshire Hospital back in August.

Mark Head, of Gorse Ride South, was also caught driving without insurance or a licence on Craven Road, Reading on the same day (August 21).

The 38-year-old had 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped by police at the hospital site.

The legal drink-drive limit is 35mcg per 100ml.

He was also caught drink driving on Shinfield Road, Reading, on September 15.

This time he had 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

Like with his first offence, Head was driving without insurance or a licence.

At a court hearing on Thursday, September 16, Head admitted to two counts of drink driving, two counts of driving without a licence, and two counts of driving without insurance.

He was remanded on unconditional bail until his next hearing at Slough Magistrates’ Court, which is scheduled for October.
