POLICE are hunting for two men after a man in his 20s was attacked outside Newbury Racecourse.

Before 6pm on Saturday, August 14, the victim was beaten up outside the grandstand, suffering injuries to his face, cuts to his head an a broken shin.

Officers believe the two men in the CCTV images have vital information about the attack.

Investigating officer, PC Niamh Meaney, based at Newbury police station said: “We are releasing the image of these two men as we believe they may have information about this incident.

“If you recognise either of the men in this image, or believe either may be you, please get in touch.

“I would also appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened to please contact police.

“To report any information you can call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43210364306. If you have any mobile phone footage that may assist the investigation, you can submit this to us using our dedicated online portal.
