Reading FC captain Liam Moore is the latest Royals player to pick up an injury, with ten first-team players now ruled out of action.

The skipper hobbled off the field in the first-half of the 3-1 home win over Peterborough United on Tuesday evening and was replaced by Tom Holmes.

Boss Veljko Paunovic confirmed that the Jamaican defender left the stadium on crutches after the game.

Paunovic said: "He was in pain and on crutches so that's an obvious indicator it's not a simple injury.

"We'll see what the outcome of the scan is.

"It is very difficult to manage [injuries] but it's part of the game and we have to be ready to assess them and provide the players with the right treatments to return as soon as possible.

"In the mean time, we have to adjust and adapt to the circumstances and expectations.

"We don't know what to expect on the injury side, but we have to be very careful."

As of yet, it is now known how long Moore could be out for.

He will undergo a scan on the injury in the coming days.
