Southwood: 7/10 - Looked a composed figure between the sticks and made two vital saves in the first half to keep Posh at bay.
Yiadom: 7/10 - Great energy down the right and always looked to try and make something happen. Needs to stay on his feet inside the opposition box though…
Morrison: 6/10 - Made a few key headers and interceptions but needs to work on his passing. Too many downfield punts to nobody.
Moore: 6/10 - Defensively solid for the opening 45 minutes before being withdrawn on the stroke of half-time with an injury.
Rahman: 6/10 - Energetic up and down the left-flank and solid defensively.
Dele-Bashiru: 9/10 - Magnificent performance from the Watford loanee who scored two spectacular goals. The second was particularly eye-catching, lashing a fierce strike into the top corner from 25 yards.
Laurent: 6/10 - Played a slightly different role as a lone defensive midfielder but did his duties well and protected the back four.
Halilovic: 5/10 – Showed good vision with his passing but looked extremely fatigued before being hooked just after the hour mark.
Swift: 7/10 - After a quiet first half, took the game by the horns with an outrageous free-kick to give Reading the lead.
Ejaria: 5/10 - Not much to write home about, still looks to be lacking that bit of sharpness.
Puscas: 6/10- Excellent running off the ball and played a key role in Royals’ second goal.
Holmes: 6/10 - Didn’t really put a foot wrong when he came on to replace the injured Moore. Solid partnership with Morrison at the back.
Hoilett: 5/10 - Came on in the second half but didn’t really get into the game much.
