A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of rape after police were called to Reading Minster in the early hours of the morning.
The 22-year-old from Nottingham was arrested and remains in custody, police have confirmed.
Thames Valley Police said the rape happened at about 3.35am on Sunday, September 12.
The police cordon has also lifted.

A spokeswoman said: “Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43210410166.
“There will also be an increased presence of officers in the local area, please feel free to approach and speak to them if you have any concerns.”
