The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

June 21:

PAUL BOZARTH, 52, of Firs End, Mortimer, Reading, convicted of two counts of causing criminal damage to windows at a property in Reading on May 14, 2020. Conditional discharge for 18 months. Ordered to pay £250 compensation and £250 in costs. 

LEE TAYLOR, 38, of Ian Mikado Way, Caversham, Reading, admitted breaching requirements of a community order in February 2021. Ordered to pay costs of £100. 

TRAVIS FISHER, 25, of Cherry Grove, Reading, admitted breaching requirements of a community order on three occasions in March and May 2021. Fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £60. 

 

June 22:

ANDREW URQUHART, 43, of Granville Road, Reading, convicted of possession of an offensive weapon, namely a snooker ball inside a sock, in Reading on November 13, 2020. Sentenced to 25 weeks in prison due to the severity of the offence as offence was committed during period of suspended sentence. Ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge. Snooker ball and sock to be forfeited and destroyed. 

CONNER WOOD, 20, of Wokingham Road, Reading, admitted driving without insurance on the A33 in Reading on November 30, 2020. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. Driving record endorsed with six points. 

JORDEN DAVIS, 30, of Bath Road, Padworth, Reading, admitted possession of cannabis in Newbury on May 25, 2021. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. 

DANIEL CHALLIS, 30, of Peppard Road, Reading, admitted drink driving on Wokingham Road, Earley on November 5, 2020. Caught with 70 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £1,450 and ordered to pay £280 in court fees. Banned from driving for 46 months. 

 

June 23:

PHILIP VINEY, 38, of Ireland Drive, Newbury, admitted assaulting a woman in Newbury on May 9, 2021. Conditional discharge for nine months. Ordered to pay £107 in court fees. 

LAWRANCE GWESTE, 46, of Lyndhurst Road, Tilehurst, Reading, convicted of drink driving on Western Elms Avenue in Reading on November 13, 2020. Caught with 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Banned from driving for 14 months. Fined £405 and ordered to pay £940.50 in fees. 

DAVID SUTTON, 48, of Tilehurst Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with a breath test when required to at Loddon Valley Police Station, Earley, Wokingham. Also admitted to driving without insurance on the same date on Headley Road, Woodley. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 19 days of rehabilitation activities. Fined £250 and ordered to pay £190 in court fees. Banned from driving for 24 months. 

ADEEQAH CARRINGTON, 23, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, admitted to three counts of assaulting an emergency worker in Reading on July 18, 2020. Also admitted to racially aggravated use of threatening words or behaviour on the same date in Reading. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 35 days of rehabilitation activities. Fined £75, ordered to pay compensation of £125 and a victim surcharge of £85.  

 

June 24:

CORIN ISPAS, 37, of Epping Close, Reading, admitted theft from employer, namely stealing laptops worth £4,584 belonging to DHL in Thatcham on October 10, 2019. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay compensation of £4,584 and to pay £175 in court fees. 

CHRISTIAN SESSIONS, 47, of Kennedy Drive, Pangbourne, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Pangbourne Meadows, Pangbourne, on May 30, 2021. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. 

LUKASZ FLEKS, 21, of Leighton Court, Earley, Reading, admitted drink driving on Pepper Lane, Reading, on May 28, 2021. Caught with 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £233 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. Banned from driving for 42 days. 

JOSHUA LEGGETT, 32, of Cressingham Road, Reading, admitted drink driving at Chieveley motorway services on Oxford, Berkshire, on May 29, 2021. Caught with 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £180 in court fees. Banned from driving for 23 months. 

JON MEW, 19, of Rowan Drive, Reading, admitted possession of cocaine and ecstasy in Woodley on December 4, 2020. Fined £287 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. 

ELISHA LESSY, 28, of Old Bath Road, Newbury, admitted drink driving on Station Road in Newbury on May 28, 2021. Caught with 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £346 and ordered to pay £120 in court fees. Banned from driving for 14 months. 

YLADIMIR PETKOV, 34, of Donnington Gardens, Reading, admitted drink driving on Elmhurst Road, Reading, on May 29, 2021. Caught with 44 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £267 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. Banned from driving for one month. 

GEORGE STEWARD, 23, of Ravensbourne Drive, Woodley, Reading, admitted drink driving on Wargrave Road, Reading, on May 28, 2021. Caught with 112 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £180 in court fees. Banned from driving for 25 months. 

BRIAN THOMSON, 73, of Falcon Avenue, Shinfield, Reading, admitted drink driving on Arborfield Road, Reading, on May 29, 2021. Caught with 61 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £163 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. Banned from driving for 36 months. 

CHARLES WADE, 28, of Dickens Walk, Newbury, convicted of using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Newbury on September 26, 2020. Community order made. Ordered to pay compensation of £200 and pay £180 in court fees. 

 

June 25:

ZAIN CHAUDRY, 21, of Dawlish Road, Reading, convicted of failing to stop a car when required to in Reading on May 30, 2019. Also admitted to possession of cannabis in Reading on February 12, 2021. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees. 

STEPHEN ASHCROFT, 51, of Duke Street, Reading, admitted wasting police time by making a false report to Thames Valley Police between March 28 and March 31, 2021. Committed to prison for 15 weeks suspended for 18 months. Ordered to carry out up to 15 days of rehabilitation activities. Told to pay £213 in court fees. 

ALAN WATERS, 46, of Southend, Thatcham, admitted assaulting a police officer in Thatcham on June 15, 2020. Fined £270 and ordered to pay £40 in compensation. Told to pay £100 in court fees.
