With the sun beating down on Berkshire at 28C, what better way is there to cool off than a spa with an outdoor pool?

Luckily, two retreats in Berkshire were named among the top ten in the UK by SpaSeekers, and we’ve rounded up the others you can attend too.

If you’re ready for a cold glass of prosecco, a cream tea and a luxury day relaxing in the heat then look no further than our top four spas in Berkshire with pool facilities.

Macdonald Berystede

Named the fifth best spa with an outdoor pool in the UK by SpaSeekers, Macdonald Berystede boasts a sauna, thermal suite and salt infusion room and an outdoor hydrotherapy pool that’s the perfect place to unwind in style.

Located in Sunninghill, Ascot, you can spend between £65 and £319.50 on a spa package.

Coming in at number 10 on SpaSeekers list, Fredrick’s features a pampering spa, dining and leisure facilities. You can dip a toe in one of its two swimming pools or enjoy the spa garden while taking advantage of the September sun.

The hotel, in Shoppenhangers Rd, Maidenhead, is advertised as a ‘spa for foodies' who want to escape and unwind in a hot tub while keeping their stomachs satisfied.

You can take advantage of the facilities from £60 to £160.

Nirvana

This Wokingham spa may not have made SpaSeekers list, but with five separate pools we couldn’t leave it off ours.

You can immerse yourself in the 51-jet hydrotherapy pool, lounge beside the aptly-named Roman Pool or take a dip a heated outdoor pool.

Nirvana, in Mole Rd, Sindlesham, offers a number of different saunas, steam rooms, massages, manicures and even something they call ‘celestial flotation’ - floating under a ‘starlit sky’ supported by warm salty water.

Prices range from £50 for a three hour session, to £195 for a Friday – Sunday stay.
