With Alen Halilovic and Baba Rahman completing their moves to the Royals earlier today, the transfer window has finally got going for Reading fans, right at the death, writes Eddie Wallbank.
However, The Reading Chronicle understands that Vejlko Paunovic has not yet finished adding to his squad, with the transfer and loan deadline quickly approaching.
Reading are keen to add a further two loan players to their ranks, taking the number of new additions to six - making it their busiest window since 2019.
The Chronicle can confirm that the Royals are looking to add a striker, as well as working on a deal for an experienced defensive midfielder, which is progressing progressing well.
