The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

May 26
ROSE DAVIES, 25, of London Road, Newbury, admitted criminal damage to television, bowls, curtains, and mirrors worth £1,050 belonging to the Mercure West Grange Hotel in Thatcham on April 20, 2020. She also admitted to assault by beating on the same date. She was ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work, pay £1,050 compensation and £600 court fees.
ADAM COBBE, 27, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, admitted to using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Reading on March 17, 2021. He also admitted to criminal damage of a perspex screen belonging to Travelodge in Reading on the same date. He was ordered to undertake rehabilitation activity, pay £100 compensation and court fees of £180.
PIERCE DARLOW, 31, of Romany Lane, Tilehurst, Reading, admitted to driving under the influence of cocaine and cannabis on the A329M on October 17, 2020. He was banned from driving for 16 months and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Darlow was also told to pay £180 court fees.
DEAN SHARP, 47, of Anstey Road, Reading, convicted of racially aggravated assault in Reading on April 25, 2019. He was told to take part in rehabilitation activity, and pay court costs of £395.
BRANDON GREEN, 19, of Helmsdale Close, Reading, admitted assault by beating in Reading on October 12, 2020. He was made to pay compensation of £50 and ordered to pay court fees of £107.

May 27
VICTORIA FRAIN, 39, of Ayrton Senna Road, Reading, admitted racially aggravated assault in Reading on December 4, 2019. She was made to pay £200 in compensation and ordered to pay court fees of £106.
KEIRAN CLARK, 22, of Newtown Road, Newbury, admitted two counts of theft from Sainsbury’s in Newbury, on April 23 and April 27, 2021. He was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison due to the severity of the offences. He was also made to pay £128 in court fees.
WILLIAM DAVIS, 37, of Bishops Green, Newbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Cheap Street, Newbury, on May 1, 2021. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £119 in court fees.
CONNOR HOUSE, 22, of Staverton Road, Reading, admitted driving a quad bike on a Callington Road, Reading, without insurance and without a licence on May 2, 2021. He was banned from obtaining a driving licence for six months, fined £224, and ordered to pay £119 in court fees.
ROSS WHYBORN, 37, of Milestone Crescent, Reading, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Southampton Street, Reading, on May 2, 2021, and to assaulting a police constable in Newbury on May 3, 2021. He was fined £750 and made to pay £150 in compensation. He was also made to pay £160 in court fees.
