Reading FC manager Veljko Paunovic refused to be drawn on transfer rumours linking the Royals with a triple swoop for  Louis Sibley, James Garner, and Alen Halilovic.

The Reading Chronicle understands that the trip are all on the Royals' radar despite the club currently still unsure of their financial restrictions due to a lack of clarity from the EFL.

Paunovic gave a simple answer of 'no comment' when asked about the links after the defeat to Swansea in the Carabao Cup, with the boss stating that he would prefer to discuss the players he already has at his disposal.

The Royals boss, who was noticeably frustrated by further questions on the current financial situation, gave a praying gesture when asked whether the current situation will soon be clarified.

Yesterday, the club released a statement on the current status of their discussions with the EFL.

Reading are still yet to make any signings this summer and fielded a side with an average age of just 19 against Swansea City.
