A FAMILY got a lucky escape after a near miss at a turning in Wokingham earlier this week.
Richard Hollings shared dashcam footage online of a reckless driver cutting across his lane on Reading Road in Wokingham on Sunday evening (August 10).

He said: “I was approaching a junction to turn right when the blue fiat was forced to break as the other car went the wrong way up the slip road, through a red light and crossed in front of me forcing me to slow down.
“I was annoyed really that someone could be so stupidly reckless.”

The family can be heard cursing the reckless driver, with Richard in disbelief at the actions of the oncoming driver.
Richard said he has contacted the police about the incident.
