A NEWBURY man has admitted to making almost 800 indecent images of children -- with most of them being the most severe pictures possible.
Marek Katona, of Sayers Close, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images at Reading Magistrates’ Court last month.
The 40-year-old admitted to making 507 category A images -- deemed the most explicit possible photos.

He also confessed to creating 158 category B images and 129 category C images.
In total, Katona made 794 indecent images of children.

Having appeared at Magistrates’ Court for a hearing on July 13, 2021, Katona’s case was adjourned for sentencing at Reading Crown Court on a later date.
