League One side Tranmere Rovers are the frontrunners to sign Marc McNulty on loan.
The 28-year-old has been told he is surplus to requirements at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, with the club actively looking for suitors for the former Coventry striker.

It is now understood that Tranmere boss Micky Mellon is keen on a reunion with McNulty.
The pair worked together during a previous loan stint for McNulty at Dundee United.

The Whites are currently leading the race for McNulty's signature, which is expected to be a one-year loan deal.
