Reading will be without a number of their first-team stars for the visit of Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

The Royals are set to play their second home game in four days against the Addicks having lost 3-0 to West Ham at home on Wednesday.

Tom McIntyre, Tom Holmes, and George Puscas are all likely to miss the game.

The trio has been self-isolating following a positive test in the Royals camp, with manager Veljko Paunovic eyeing their returns for next week's test against Crystal Palace.

Lucas Joao is expected to miss out with a minor injury that is not expected to rule him out for a substantial period of time.

Felipe Araruna is expected to return to training in around a month after a successful operation over the summer.

Liam Moore remains on international duty with Jamaica at the Gold Cup.
