A ROBBERY by the A329 flyover in Reading has led to police appealing for witnesses.
At around 5.30pm on Wednesday, July 21, the victim, an 18-year-old man, was sat by the river underneath the flyover of the A329 near Country Lock, when he was approached from behind by another man.

The man held the victim in a headlock and stole cash before running off towards Katesgrove Lane.
The victim sustained grazing to his neck and scratching on his wrist but did not require any medical treatment.
The man is described as having tanned skin, around 6ft 1in tall with a muscular build. He had dark hair with the sides shaved and the top tied into a bun. He was not wearing a top and had knee length shorts.

Investigating officer PC Samuel Haselgrove, based at Reading police station said: “I am appealing for any witnesses of this incident, or anyone who saw a man matching the description in the area at the time to please get in touch.
