1. Police warning after 'four men' attempt to kidnap two teenage girls near Sainsbury's

TWO teenage girls were almost abducted by four men driving a BMW car.

The pair were walking in Chapel Street, Thatcham on Tuesday, July 13, when they were approached by four men.

A post shared online explained how the police had to be called after the girls were encouraged by four men to get into their car.

2. Partygoers in Reading queue to get inside nightclub at midnight on Freedom Day

EXCITED revellers queued at midnight in Reading for the reopening of nightclubs to celebrate Freedom Day.

Dozens of people lined up outside Q Club last night after waiting since March last year to dance the night away again.

People were allowed to party again without being required to provide Covid passports or negative Covid test results.

3. 'Fed up' - Travellers encampment court hearing set nine weeks after arrival

A court hearing to remove a traveller encampment at Rabsons Rec will take place more than nine weeks after they arrived.

Travellers set up at John Rabson Recreation Ground on June 10 and have now been at the Whitley park for six weeks.
