The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

April 28
BENJAMIN JAQUES, 45, of Dickens Walk, Newbury, admitted drink-driving on Newtown Road, Newbury on December 15, 2020. He was caught with 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg. He was banned from driving for 24 months, ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, told to pay a victim surcharge of £95, and £85 court costs. 
TREI OSEI, 23, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, admitted to driving under the influence of cannabis, to driving under the influence of cocaine, and to driving without insurance on the A33 in Reading on August 12, 2020. He was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and told to pay costs of £85. 
SOLOMON OSEI, 21, of Riversley Court, Reading, was convicted of driving without insurance on Mill Lane, Reading, on July 9, 2019. He was fined £660, told to pay a victim surcharge of £66, and ordered to pay costs of £85. 

April 29
STEPHEN HILL, 40, of Love Lane, Donnington, Newbury, admitted to harassment without violence in Newbury between November 2, 2020 and January 5, 2021. He was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work, handed a restraining order from the victim, told to pay a £95 victim surcharge, and ordered to pay costs of £85. 
EUGENE BARKER, 39, of Chiltern View, Purley-on-Thames, Reading, admitted to possession of Meclonazepam, a class-C drug, in Reading on October 8, 2020. He was fined £40, ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs. 
JOE MONCKTON, 32, of Park Avenue, Thatcham, admitted to being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely The Nightingales, Newbury, on March 31, 2021. He was give a conditional discharge for 12 months, ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. 
PETER BULL, 23, of Browning Copse, Reading, admitted to assaulting an emergency worker in Reading on February 27, 2021. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. 
ANDREW BIGGS, 49, of Wincanton Road, Reading, admitted to dishonestly assisting in the retention of stolen goods, namely football kits belonging to Reading Football Club, between April 13 and April 16, 2020. He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, pay a £90 victim surcharge, and pay costs of £85.

April 30
NOORUL MIAH, 44, of Lyndhurst Road, Reading, admitted to assault by beating and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a baseball bat, on September 10, 2020. He was sentenced to prison for 26 weeks due to the severity of the offence. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128. 
GARRY WRIGHT, 56, of Reading Road, Pangbourne, Reading, admitted to assault in Pangbourne on June 7, 2019. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, made to pay £150 compensation, and £85 court costs. 
MUHAMMED KHALID, 47, of Cranbury Road, Reading, admitted to fly-tipping a large trampoline delivery box on Kensington Road, Reading, on July 27, 2020. He was fined £134, made to pay a victim surcharge  of £34 and ordered to pay costs of £400. 

May 3
NASIR KHAN, 52, of Sycamore Road, admitted to driving under the influence of cocaine and to possession of cannabis on Wokingham Road in Reading on July 14, 2020. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of 334, and told to pay costs of £85. 
DAMIEN WHITEFOOT, 41, of South Street, Reading, admitted to driving under the influence of cocaine on Coatham Road in Redcar on February 10, 2020. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £200, ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. 
ALFIE DELL, 20, of Croft Road, Mortimer Common, Reading, admitted to drink driving on Bath Road in Theale on April 3, 2021. He was caught with 59 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg. He was banned from driving for 15 months, fined £400, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and £85 court costs. 

May 4
PIOTR PIEKOS, 31, of Tipping Way, Woodley, admitted to drink driving on Oxford Road, Reading, on April 3, 2021. He was caught with 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres, the limit being 35mcg. He was banned from driving for 23 months, fined £200, made to pay victim surcharge of £34, and £85 court costs.
YONG ZHUANG, 48, of The Dolmans, Newbury, admitted to drink driving on Hawthorn Road, Newbury, on April 3, 2021. She was caught with 76 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres, the limit being 35mcg. He was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £365, made to pay victim surcharge of £36, and £85 court costs.
REECE SMITH, 24, of Richfield Avenue, Reading, admitted to possession of cocaine and to possession of cannabis in Reading on September 2, 2019. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge, and told to pay costs of £85.
