Despite losing the final group game of the tournament, Reading FC captain Liam Moore's Jamaica will take on the USA in the quarter-final of the Gold Cup.

A headed goal from Bryan Ruiz was enough for Costa Rica to beat Jamaica 1-0 and claim top spot in Group C at the Exploria Stadium in Florida.
Moore replaced Daniel Johnson for the Reggae Boyz in the 81st minute.

The result meant that the Jamaican side finished second in the group after earlier wins over Guadeloupe and Suriname.
Jamaica will now take on the USA on Monday morning, kicking off at 2.30am.
