Reading will visit Aberdeen next Friday (July 16) in a behind-closed-doors pre-season fixture.

The game will kick off at the Dons' Cormack Park training ground at 1.30pm.

Lincoln City will be visiting Bearwood for the first pre-season fixture this coming Saturday.

The Royals will then travel to Scotland for a week-long training camp, concluding with the fixture against Aberdeen.

Previously announced games against Premier League opposition West Ham United and League One outfit Charlton Athletic will take place on July 21 and July 24 respectively.

Reading's Championship campaign will get underway on August 7 with a visit to the Bet365 Stadium to face Stoke City.
