CHRISTIAN Eriksen suffering a cardiac arrest during the Euros match on Saturday has proven just how much defibrillators can save lives.

The piece of equipment was used by the heroic emergency response team members who performed CPR on the midfielder.

Following on from his collapse over the weekend all eyes have been on how to save someone’s life.

It has also led to calls for more defibrillators to be placed at football grounds and other public spaces across the country.
