A TIRADE of vicious abuse towards a single police officer has landed one teenager in court.
The young defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was found guilty of harassment without violence at a hearing at Reading Magistrates' Court.
The court heard how the 17 year old subjected one police officer to an onslaught of abuse and derogatory comments over a period of five months.
On one occasion the teenager shouted at the police officer in the street repeatedly yelling 'f***ing plastic police officer' and 'pig'.
A separate occasion saw the youngster refer to the same officer as a 'plastic PCSO' in public, and on a third occasion called the officer a 'dirty s**g pig'.
The court heard that when challenged on this third tirade of abuse, the defendant responded with 'piggy s**g' and threatened to damage the officer's home using a stolen moped. The teenager then followed the officer along the road calling her a 'dirty f***ing s**g'.
Harassment of the officer continued over a five month period from August 1, 2019 and January 3, 2020.
At a hearing on May 26, the teenager was handed a conditional discharge for 12 months and made subject to a restraining order not to contact the officer unless in an emergency.
The court also ordered the teenager to pay £16 victim surcharge.
