The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

March 15:

KARL MIDDLETON, 31, of Oxford Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order made by Reading Magistrates’ Court - namely by not attending appointments on January 12, 2021, and February 3, 2021. community order varied to include rehabilitation activity.Must also pay £60 court costs.

JAKE CARTER, 23, of Usk Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order made by Reading Magistrates’ Court - namely by not attending supervision requirements on December 12, January 5, January 7, and telephone calls on December 29, and January 12. Community order varied to include rehabilitation activities. Must also pay £60 court costs.

TONY EDWARDS, 31, of Oxford Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order made by Reading Magistrates’ Court - namely by not attending telephone appointments on February 3, 2021. Fined £50 and community order varied. Must also pay £60 court costs.

ZARDASHT KHASSROUW, 35, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison - namely by not attending appointments on March 8, 2021. Sentenced to 14 days in prison due to severity of offence and ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’.

ANDREW PATTISON, 38, of Bobgreen Court, Reading, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison - namely by not attending telephone appointments on October 8, October 16, October 26, November 4, and November 12. Fined £50.

March 16:

SAMANTHA SINGER, 32, of Brock Gardens, Reading, admitted two charges of assault by beating of an emergency worker in Reading on June 20, 2020, and in Maidenhead on November 29, 2020. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity. Also ordered to pay £200 compensation.

JAKE GREENWOOD, 27, of Evedon Road, Reading, admitted drug-driving in Peacock Lane, Bracknell, on August 26, 2020. Fined £200. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ALISON BALDWIN, 47, of Wheelers Green Way, West Berkshire, admitted drink-driving in Horse Guards Way, West Berkshire, on September 19, 2020. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £300 compensation. Must pay £34 victim surcharge and is disqualified from driving for 18 months.

ANDREW GOGGIS, 41, of London Road, West Berkshire, admitted drinking-driving on the A4 London Road, Newbury, on February 10, 2021. Found to have 64mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £250. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

GLASFORD BRYAN, 60, of Stanton Close, Earley, admitted drink-driving in London Road, Reading, on February 13, 2021. Fined £250. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge an £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
