EVERY week police issue a number of appeals for help from the public for more information following major incidents.

Over the past fortnight, Thames Valley officers have requested witnesses for a supermarket fight, an incident which saw an officer hit by a car, and more.

Here are some incidents reported recently you could help the force with.

Head injury following weapon brawl

A man sustained a head injury after an assault in Tilehurst in Reading on Saturday, May 22.

Thames Valley Police appealed for witnesses after a group of six men were reportedly seen in the altercation, with weapons believed to be present.

The incident occurred at around 8.15pm.

Two men aged 20 and 24, both from Reading, have been arrested in connection with this incident.

They have been bailed until June 17, however, and an investigation is ongoing.

Five males in Hungerford altercation

Police are also looking for a five males believed to be aged between 16 and 18 after an altercation in Hungerford on Wednesday, May 26.

No one was injured in the scrap, but one member of the group was believed to have been in possession of a weapon.

He was described as a white male, wearing brown clothing with writing down the leg of his trousers.

No arrests have yet been made.

Supermarket fight

An altercation in the PMK supermarket on Northumberland Avenue in Reading has led to police appealing for potential witnesses to the incident.

Four people were said to be involved, with a fight breaking out between two men.

A man tried to intervene but was assaulted and was treated at hospital for a laceration to his neck.

Following the incident, which occurred between 10.30pm and 10.45pm on Friday, May 21, a 27-year-old man from Wokingham was arrested and released on bail.

Police are hoping to speak to people who may have been in the shop at the same time as the incident.

Officer struck by car

A police officer was struck by a car in Bracknell on Wednesday, May 19.

Two women and one man were arrested in connection with the incident, which saw a Red Range Rover hit an officer after an attempted stop on Stoney Road.

Police are still appealing for witnesses for the incident after one of the women was released on bail and the other two were released under investigation.

The officer who was struck by the car was taken to hospital but was later discharged.
