A MAN has been rushed to hospital with a head injury after a fight between six men broke out in Reading.

Thames Valley Police is hunting those involved in the 'armed' fight in Tilehurst on Saturday, May 22.

It happened in Romany Lane about 8.15pm and it is believed multiple weapons were used.

A man in his thirties was rushed to hospital with a head injury and has since been discharged.

Police said two men from Reading, aged 20 and 24, have been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with this incident. Both have been bailed until June 17.

Investigating officer, PC Harriett Butt, of Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, whereby a man aged in his thirties sustained a head injury.

“I’d ask that anyone who was in this area at the same time, and believed they either witnessed this or have any information on it, to please contact police.
