TWO READING men have been fined more than £3,500 after breaching covid restrictions at a local school.
Jahson Downes, of Pell Street, and Sanchez Commock-Parkes, of Mylum Close were caught at a gathering of more than two people at Theale Green School last year.

The 30-year-old and the 27-year-old were spotted at the event on November 22 2020, while England was in the middle of its second national lockdown.
Coronavirus restrictions at the time prohibited people from meeting in groups.

The official guidance was to ‘stay at home’.
Clearly, neither man listened to this guidance and both were charged with breaching coronavirus health restrictions.
Neither defendant was present at Oxford Magistrates Court for their sentencing on Monday, May 2020.

In their absence, the court fined each of them £1,760.
They were each told to pay £176 in a victim surcharge and £90 in costs, too.
In total, they were ordered to pay £4,052 altogether.
