THREE youngsters have been let off with a slap on the wrist after holding a gathering of more than 30 people during the peak of the pandemic.
Rory Torrance, of Stapleford Abbots, Romford, Thomas Williams, of Kington, Herefordshire, and Charles Boyce, of Cleeve Hill, Cheltenham, all 21, were caught at the gathering in Reading last year.

They broke coronavirus restrictions after meeting in a group of more than 30 people at a property on Addington Road “without a reasonable excuse”.
The trio were present at the gathering on November 5 -- the day England went into its second lockdown as coronavirus cases soared.

All three were conditionally discharged for 12 months and told only to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £22.
Torrance, Williams and Boyce all appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 20.
