Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he faces a real dilemma over whether to play Cumbrian Dean Henderson or David de Gea in next week's Europa League final.

The Old Trafford chief says it will be one of the "difficult" decisions he faces ahead of next Wednesday's clash with Villareal in Gdansk.

Whitehaven star Henderson has recently edged ahead of de Gea as first-choice in the Premier League.

That saw the Spaniard start in the Europa semi-final victory over Roma.

Solskjaer, though, is not being drawn over who will get the nod for the final in Poland.

He said "I think there are loads of difficult calls.

"The whole squad has contributed so much. It's probably a different scenario with the 'keepers than it's normally been, because they're both in and around the 30 [games] mark [this season].

"Both have done really well. It's going to be difficult but I'll have to make other ones as well."

If Henderson is chosen for the final it would be part of what could be another landmark week in the former Carlisle academy keeper's career.

The 24-year-old is also expected to be named in England's Euro 2021 squad when Gareth Southgate names his 26-man party for this summer's tournament.

Southgate will announce his squad next Tuesday, with Jordan Pickford and Nick Pope expected to join Henderson in the goalkeeping department.

Solskjaer has handed de Gea a start in Man Utd's Premier League game against Fulham tonight.
