Mark Wright headlines a list of six players who will leave Crawley.
The 34-year-old joined the Reds in December as he looked to get into professional football under his former manager John Yems.
However, Wright after coming off the bench late on in their third round FA Cup win over Leeds, he made just one further appearance.
That came in February as he started in the 3-1 defeat at home to Harrogate, before being substituted at half time.
Wright was also an unused substitute in Crawley's final day defeat to Bolton earlier this month.
He joins Joe McNerney, Stuart Nelson, David Sesay, Tarryn Allarakhia and Josh Doherty in leaving the club.
McNerney's departure will come as a shock to many Reds fans have made 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal in the process.
Crawley's Chief Executive Erdem Konyar said: “I would like to thank these six players for their efforts during their time at the club.
"Every one of these players gave their all for the badge, and I wish them all the best for the future.”
However, Crawley have taken options to extends the stays of Jack Powell, Jordan Tunnicliffe, Tom Nichols, Ricardo German and Glenn Morris.
Nichols was one of Crawley's star players this season.
The 27-year-old finished as their joint-top scorer this season (15), along with fellow striker Max Watters, who left in January to join Championship side Cardiff City.
Nichols also got 11 assists meaning he was involved in 26 goals for the reds this season.
Morris will be another player who has been a key man for the Reds this season.
The 37-year-old played in 45 of their 46 league games this season, keeping 16 cleans sheets in the process.
Only Stevanage's Jamie Cumming (16), Bolton's Matt Gilks (16), Leyton Orient's Lawrence Vigouroux (18), Cheltenham's Joshua Griffiths (21) and Salford's Vaclav Hladky (22) kept more clean sheets than Morris.
The club are still in negotiations with veteran midfielder Dannie Bulman.
The 42-year-old has made 265 appearances for the Reds during his career.
But this season he became part of John Yems coaching staff and has made just nine appearances in all competitions, picking up one assist.
