A DISTRACTION thief has entered a home after saying they were a "trusted member of the community" and stolen items from the owner.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) said between 8.45pm and 9.10pm on Saturday, May 8, a man attended a property in Springfield Park, Twyford.

The force said he claimed he was "a trusted member of the community".
However, once he was inside the property he distracted the occupant and stole items.
Police said the man is described as white, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall and in their mid to late 20s.
They were wearing black clothes with white shoes and had been riding a bicycle.

TVP added: "We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage that may help with this investigation.
