A Slough motorcyclist has died after colliding with a Land Rover on the M4. 

The man, in his forties, crashed into the 4x4 at 3.07pm on Friday, May 7.

The incident occured on the M4 Westbound between junctions five and six. 

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by police officers.

No one else was injured in the collision and no arrests have been made. 

However, Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident.

Investigating officer, PC Roslyn Bonney of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based at Taplow, said: “We are investigating this incident in which sadly a man has died, our thoughts remain with his family at this difficult time.
