A DRUG dealer has been jailed after pleading guilty to supplying cocaine, heroin, and cannabis.

Abd Al Salam Yu, of Prince of Wales Avenue, Reading, was stopped by police in Richfield Avenue on February 17, 2021.

Officers found him in possession of a Class A drug, and subsequently searched his home and found more class A and class B drugs. The force said there was also evidence uncovered of drug dealing.

The 22 year old was charged on February 18, and having pleaded guilty he was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, April 29.

He was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for one count of being concerned in the supply of heroin, one count of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and one count of being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

Investigating officer, PC James Dunwell, based at Reading police station, said: “I am pleased that another person who has been involved in the supply of drugs has been removed from our community and will be spending time in prison.

“We absolutely will not tolerate this sort of offending, which is a blight on our communities and causes misery to so many people.
