Local fans of the dark comedy-drama will already know that the Beaconsfield area features heavily in the first two seasons – and the third is set to be no different.

Ricky, who plays Tony Johnson, a local newspaper writer who is struggling to come to terms with his wife’s death, was filming at the Royal Standard of England pub in Forty Green this week.

Pictures show Ricky posed socially-distanced at the historic pub with owner Anna O’Keeffe, after what staff said was a “lovely and good humoured morning” of filming.
