The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Court:

January 7:

CHERE MITCHELL, 47, of Millins Close, Sandhurst, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Wokingham on December 9, 2020. Fined £80. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. 10 points added to driving licence.

GEORGE REED, 33, of Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham, convicted of using a handheld mobile phone or device while driving a vehicle in Finchampstead Road, Wokingham, on March 18, 2020. Fined £300. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £620 court costs. Three points added to driving licence.

Bracknell News:

January 8:
JAMES RAMSDEN, 36, of Wokingham Road, Bracknell, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following a release from prison by not attending post sentence supervision appointments on September 2, 2020, September 14, 2020, and September 23, 2020. Fined £120.

FLORIN PETCU, 33, of London Road, Ascot, admitted assault by beating in Bracknell on November 2, 2020, and admitted possession of class A drug cocaine in Bracknell on December 19, 2020. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and ordered to undertake 100 hours unpaid work. Fined £60. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
