POLICE officers who found a lost dog in West Berkshire were able to reunite it with its owner.
Thames Valley Police West Berkshire tweeted yesterday to explain it had been carrying out patrols.
The tweet said: "With vehicle access restrictions due to end soon, the Pangbourne NHPT have been patrolling The Ridgeway.

"Signs of unsafe fires & the recent dry weather is a concern."

The force added: "The officers did find a lost dog that they were able to reunite with its owner."
