Tom Mcguinness

Tom Mcguinness passed away at Royal Berkshire Hospital on Wednesday 24th March, aged 74. Much loved brother and uncle, Thomas will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Margaret June Fiolka

Margaret June Fiolka passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 9th March 2021, aged 87 years. Margaret was born on 14th October, 1933 in Reading, Berkshire and was the eldest daughter of the late Rose and Albert Luker. She married the late Serafin Leon Fiolka in April 1957 and gave birth to her one and only son, Jan Leon Fiolka, on 3rd October, 1965. Her first job at 16 years old was at the Gillette Factory in Reading, where she remained a popular and respected employee until the birth of her son. Margaret was a truly loving, kind and caring person to all who knew her. This was highlighted by her work in later life as a nursing home carer at the former Alice Jenkins Home in Reading, where she was extremely popular with both residents and fellow staff alike for her exemplary care and teamwork spirit. Margaret is survived by her sister, Joan Lawrence; one son, Jan Leon Fiolka; and grandson, Christian Jan Fiolka. A private funeral service is to be held at Reading Crematorium, on Wednesday 7th April. Flowers welcome. William Alan Barry (“bill”) Dance

William Alan Barry "Bill" Dance passed away peacefully on 22nd March, aged 74 years. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and master to Jan, Steve, Tom, Megan and Gypsy. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Bill will travel via Swallowfield Street to West Berkshire Crematorium, where the funeral will take place on Thursday 15th April at 12 noon. Maria Williamson passed away at home with her family by her side on Saturday 20th March, aged 99. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Maria will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral will be held at Henley Road Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday 6th April.
