The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Courts:

January 22:

BEATRIX DEMETER, of Oxford Road, Reading, convicted dropped litter on Beresford Road, Reading, on April 30, 2020. Fined £440. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £625 court costs.

CHRISTIAN FLOREA, of Hexham Road, Reading, convicted dropping litter on Hexham Road, Reading, on May 14. Fined £440. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £625 court costs. 

CATRINA PEREIRA, of Notton Way, Lower Earley, admitted dropped litter on Citra Park, Reading, on December 18, 2019. Fined £440. Also ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £625 court costs. 

LAUREN SPOONER, 23, of Portmerion Gardens, Tilehurst, admitted dropping litter on Church End Lane, Reading, on January 3, 2020. Fined £293. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £625 court costs. 

January 25:

DARREN GRANT, 44, of London Street, Reading, convicted contravening a closure order on Rupert Square, Reading, on August 5, 2019. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. 

MATTHEW KEOHANE, 29, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements after being released from prison, namely failing to attend supervision on May 7, 2020, May 15, 2020, and May 22, 2020. Fined £50. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs. 

KENNETH TYLER, 56, of Basingstoke Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with community requirements by failing to attend unpaid work sessions on January 21, 2020, January 24, 2020, and January 28, 2020. Also convicted original offence which a community was made on October 25, 2018, namely cause harassment, alarm or distress in Reading on October 4, 2018. Also convicted original offence which a community was made on October 25, 2018, namely using threatening, abusive, or insulting words to cause them to believe unlawful violence would be used against them in Reading on October 4, 2018. Community order made, including 70 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £75 court costs. 

Reading Chronicle:

DESMOND WILLIAMS, 51, of Barnwood Close, Reading, admitted failing to comply with community order by failing to comply with having an electric monitoring tag fitted on October 4, and failing to attend office appointments on December 2 and December 10. Court order varied. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.

BERKE ERSOY, 23, of Wychelm Road, Shinfield, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed after a release from a period of detention, namely failing to attend scheduled programme sessions on October 8, 2020, October 19, 2020 and October 21, 2020. Fined £100. Also ordered to pay £75 court costs. 

ADAM PLAYLE, 30, of Oatlands Road, Shinfield, admitted failing to comply with community order requirements by failing to attend unpaid work appointments on November 21, December 19, and a planned office appointment on December 16. Fined £50. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs. 

January 26:

OLEG BEIU, 38, of Albany Road, Reading, admitted drink driving on Western Elms Avenue, Reading, on December 24, 2020. Found to have 82mcg alcohol per 100ml breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £150. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 21 months. 

January 27: 

JASON VINTON, 47, of Wokingham Road, Reading, admitted interfered with a vehicle with the offence of theft in Reading on October 12. Also admitted breaking bail conditions by leaving his residency within a specific time frame in Reading on January 27. Also admitted commission for a further offence while under a suspended sentence order made, for two counts of vehicle interference. Community order made, including drug rehabilitation requirement. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £100 court costs. 

KEEREN BROOKER, 33, of Rosemary Court, Reading, admitted criminally damaging a window belonging to The Pheasant, Southampton Street, Reading, on November 9, 2019. Conditionally discharged for two years. Also ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs. 

SANCHEZ CAESAR, 30, of Ambrook Road, Reading, admitted possession of cannabis in Reading on May 13, 2020. Also admitted possession of cocaine in Reading on May 13, 2020. Also convicted possession of a weapon, namely a stun gun, in a public place in Reading on May 13, 2020. Fined £250 total. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
