A PLEA has gone out on social media from police in a bid to track down an owner of stolen medals.
Thames Valley Police has tweeted out two pictures of the medals 'believed to be stolen'.
Officers said the two medals were recovered yesterday in Reading Road.
The force said one medal is a punctual attendance King Edward the 7th medal from London County Council in 1907. The other is a George the 6th victory celebration medal from 1946 given by Croydon County Council.
They are believed to have been stolen and the force is looking to reunite them with their rightful owner.
