The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Courts:

January 12:

CAULAY SUTTIE, 20, of Bartholomew Street, Newbury, admitted possession of cocaine in Newbury on February 9, 2020. Also admitted possession of ketamine in Newbury on February 9, 2020. Given a conditional discharge for two years. Also ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

LUKASZ OTTO, 40, of Liverpool Road, Reading, admitted fraud by false representation, by using another persons credit card on Amazon in Woodley on December 12, 2019. Given a community order including electronic curfew monitoring. Also ordered to pay £990.44 compensation. 

JOY MORGAN, 36, of Severn Way, Tilehurst, admitted breaching of a court order in Reading between December 29 and January 10. Fined £600. 

JOSHUA DRISCOLL, 27, of Shaw, Newbury, admitted drug-driving on A339 northbound carriageway, Newbury, on July 10. Found to have cannabis in his blood. Fined £116. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. 

RICKY SAULSBURY, 39, of Sayers Close, Newbury, admitted making off without payment of petrol worth £30.01 at Sainsbury’s Savacentre, Reading, on March 18, and admitted making off without payment of petrol worth £30.03 at Chieveley Services, Newbury, on February 5. Also admitted making off without payment of petrol worth £30.03 at Reading Services, Westbound, Reading, on December 22, 2019, and admitted making off without payment of petrol worth £30.03 at Sainsbury’s Savacentre, Reading, on April 23. Fined £80 total. Also ordered to pay £120.10 total compensation, £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. 

STEVEN GREEN, 61, of Amber Close, Earley, convicted of assault by beating in Bracknell on January 20. Restraining order made. Also ordered to pay £100 fine, £32 victim surcharge and £775 court costs. 

RYAN MCGUIRE, 25, of Ambrook, Reading, convicted of failing to provide specimen of analysis at Loddon Valley Police station on September 22, 2019. Fined £180. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £500 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. 

DANIEL LOKES, 45, of Torrington Road, Whitley, convicted of common assault in Shinfield on July 27, 2019, and admitted stealing alcohol worth £8.50 from a Co Op in Shinfield on July 27, 2019. Commission for a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for two counts of theft. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Must pay £8.50 compensation and £21 victim surcharge.

January 13:
RYAN MASLIN, 20, of Northfield Road, Thatcham, admitted criminal damage to a plastic or wood frame and menu board belonging to Pizza Bella Chicken in Thatcham on February 4. Given a conditional discharge for six months. Must pay £100 compensation, £21 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs.

Janaury 14:
LISA SMYTH, 52, of Springfield Lane, Newbury, admitted criminal damage to a back garden gate in West Berkshire, on April 5. Also admitted harassment without violence in Newbury by sending “lots of notes through a letterbox and verbal abuse” in West Berkshire on April 5, and admitted assault by beating in West Berkshire on April 5. Also admitted failure to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates’ Court on January 12. Given a community order including electronic monitoring curfew. Restraining order made. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge, £200 court costs and £50 fine.
