At least six caravans are currently at the site, which has previously been a spot chosen by large traveller encampments.

In March last year, a group pitched up around 30 caravans at the park and ride.

Earlier this month, travellers arrived at an industrial park in Lower Earley.

Caravans could be seen parked in Cutbush Industrial Park, Danehill, on Sunday, February 7.

Commenting in a public Facebook group, residents expressed their concerns about the "rubbish" in the area.

"They arrived over the weekend. We conducted a welfare check and served notice to leave yesterday (Monday, February 22) and our bailiffs are on site today to move the encampment along.”
