Between Friday, January 15 and Monday, January 18, midnight, an unknown offender forced a lock on a conservatory door in Norton Road.

Nothing was taken, but police are investigating the break in.

Appeal for witnesses following serious injury collision in Reading

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in Reading.

The incident occurred on January 24 at about 1.15pm on the A33 at the junction with Lindisfarne Way and Island Road.

Police officers in a marked vehicle made an attempt to stop a scrambler type motorcycle, which was then involved in a collision with black Alfa Romeo car, resulting in serious injury to the motorcycle rider and pillion passenger.

A boy and a girl, both 15, were taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment in a serious but stable condition.

No one else was injured and no arrests have been made.
