OVER the past few days there have been a number of sheds and garages broken into in the Oxford Road neighbourhood, according to police.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) said these offences have been happening late at night or overnight and items such as bikes are being stolen.

The following roads have had incidents: Edinburgh Road, Wilton Road, Cranbury Road and Southcote Road.

Police also said an unknown offender forced open a garage door and stole a bike from a property in Cintra Avenue.

It happened between Saturday, January 16, and Monday, January 18, between 11pm and 6am (reference 43210023505).

In Appleford Road, Southcote, police said an offender forced open a garage door and stole tools.

It happened overnight between Monday, January 11, and Tuesday, January 12, between midnight and 11.59pm (reference 43210022640).

The force said an unknown offender broke into a shed and stole a bike in Aldenham Close at 2.10pm (reference 43210023083) yesterday.
