OPENING hours as Reading's Broad Street Mall have been altered as part of lockdown restrictions.

In line with the latest government guidance, only essential stores and services remain open at the shopping centre, with selected cafes and restaurants are offering takeaway and delivery only.

Hours have been temporarily changed to Monday - Saturday, 9am to 5pm and 11am to 5pm on Sundays, until further notice.

Shoppers should visit the website for more information on the retailers that are open.

Customers should note that policies and opening times of individual stores will vary, so visitors are encouraged to check with individual outlets on their opening times before visiting.

A spokeswoman said that the health and safety of visitors and employees remains Broad Street Mall’s top priority, as a number of safety measures remain in place at the centre.

If shoppers need to visit the mall, they are asked to wear a mask, be considerate of others and follow the social distancing guidance that is in place.

Broad Street Mall site teams are available to help visitors with any questions they may have when visiting the centre, and shoppers are advised to follow the centre's social media channels to be kept up-to-date with all the latest information.
