Police have been busy catching criminals in and around Reading.

A man reportedly carrying a kitchen knife in Whitley was arrested last night (January 12).

Thames Valley Police said they located a man in the area holding the sharp object.

He was arrested. 

As well as this, police also arrested a man wanted for domestic abuse offences.

Officers also arrested him as well as seizing drugs that he had been carrying.
