A "SMALL fire" broke out at a hospital in Reading earlier today (January 4).
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) said it received a report of a fire at Prospect Park Hospital at 11.36am.
Crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Dee Road were sent to the scene.
RBFRS said firefighters in breathing apparatus proceeded to extinguish the fire using one hose reel, before ventilating the area.

The crew were on scene for around two hours and "all people were safely accounted for".
