The following cases appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Courts

November 10:

AMY BRADY, 28, of Helmsdale Close, Reading, admitted two charges of criminal damage to a vehicle on May 21 in Lyndhurst Road, Reading. Also admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by not attending planned office appointments on February 17, February 24, March 3, March 10, and failed to surrender to Reading Magistrates’ Court having been released on bail on August 7. Fined £120 and must pay £100 compensation. Also ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £100 court costs.

STEPHEN SHEPHERD, 37, of Oxford Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison by not attending drug rehabilitation on July 14 or supervision on July 27, or August 3. Fined £51.

MACIE KEPKA, 31, of Hildens Drive, Tilehurst, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road, Reading, on September 2. Found to have 63mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £161. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

NORMAN NEVERS, 56, of Caversham Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Forbury Road, Reading, on October 3. Found to have 65mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £390. Also ordered to pay £39 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for three years.

MICHAEL PHILLIPSON, 54, of Medway Close, Thatcham, admitted entering as a trespasser into The Elephant Hotel, Pangbourne, stealing a wallet and the unknown contents on July 4, 2019. Sentenced to eight weeks in prison suspended for six months due to severity of offence. Also ordered to pay £100 compensation. Must pay £85 court costs.

THOMAS BADDELEY, 30, of Shepley Drive, Reading, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Reading on August 6, 2020. Given a community order to comply with 80 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for two years.

RYAN MASLIN, 19, of Northfield Road, Thatcham, admitted two charges of drug-driving in Northfield Road, West Berkshire, on March 2. Found to have cannabis in his blood. Also found to have Ketamine in his blood on the same occasion. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

BRADLEY BRITTON, 24, of Rossby in Shinfield, admitted drink-driving in Lower Earley Way, Reading, on September 1. Found to have 42mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Also admitted not having the correct insurance in Lower Earley Way, Reading, on September 1. Fined £338. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
