THE first glimpse of snow in Reading has been captured on camera by a resident.
Snowflakes can be seen falling in pictures taken by Paul King last night (December 7).
Pictures show snow outside The Pheasant pub on Southampton Street as well as various streets in the town.

Snow is not forecast today but temperatures will reach lows of -1 degrees and highs of 5 degrees.
It will also be overcast at 11am and from 7pm until midnight.
There is a 50 per cent chance of rain at 8pm and 9pm.
